On Saturday. May 24th, the Haitian Real Estate Professionals Association (HREPA) proudly hosted the Little Haiti Homeownership Fair, bringing together community members, local leaders, and real estate professionals for a day of education, empowerment, and opportunity. The event was supported by key city officials, including mayors, commissioners, and community leaders, who joined HREPA in engaging with residents and highlighting the importance of homeownership and economic growth in the neighborhood.
HREPA members took center stage, presenting workshops, answering questions, and providing guidance on financing, property management, and real estate investment. Attendees—from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors—gained practical tools and insights to navigate the homebuying process and build wealth in the community.
The presence of elected officials elevated the event, underscoring the city’s commitment to supporting access to homeownership and economic mobility. Commissioners and mayors participated in discussions, offered advice, and reinforced the value of community engagement and advocacy in shaping policies that benefit homeowners and the broader real estate market.
The fair also emphasized mentorship and representation. HREPA members shared their professional journeys, offered real-life examples of success, and inspired students and young professionals to pursue careers in real estate. Attendees left equipped not only with knowledge but also with connections to professionals and local leaders invested in their success.
This event highlighted HREPA’s dual impact: educating the community while demonstrating the value of membership, mentorship, and collaboration with local leadership. By bringing together professionals, elected officials, and residents, HREPA reinforced its mission to strengthen the Haitian community, expand opportunities for homeownership, and drive generational wealth.
HREPA looks forward to continuing partnerships with local government and community leaders to host events that educate, inspire, and empower Haitian families and professionals across South Florida.
