Tracy Vertus is a dynamic leader whose career spans economic development, international development, real estate, and community empowerment. With strong expertise in program management and business operations, she is known for building high-impact initiatives that expand opportunity and drive sustainable change.
She has served as Program Manager for leading organizations including Feeding South Florida, SOS Children’s Villages, Atlanta Mission, Medici Road, the World AIDS Museum, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, where she played a key role in advancing the county’s economic mobility strategy. As the lead behind Prosperity Broward, she helped drive countywide efforts to increase access to jobs, resources, and equitable pathways for underserved communities.
Now based in Washington, D.C., Tracy works on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, supporting country governments in strengthening their national programs. She is deeply passionate about empowering women and shaping policies that expand economic mobility and leadership for women and girls. In D.C., she is an active member of the Black Professionals in International Affairs, Women’s Foreign Policy Group, and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy.
Tracy is also the owner of Tracy Vertus PA, where she has helped many South Florida families purchase their first home or investment property. Her private-sector experience aligns with her leadership in the Haitian community as President & Co-Founder of the Haitian Real Estate Professionals Association where she drives the Haitian diaspora wealth building strategy.
